The EQ-10
Countertop, offered by Vitasalus/Equinox Products, utilizes
high-grade water filtration media combined with a multi-stage and patented dual-chamber flow design
to maximize contact-time and contaminant removal and/or
reduction for a capacity of 5,000 gallons or up to 5
years. The EQ-10 Countertop water filtration system is designed to address
sediment
and/or particulate matter, VOCs,
chlorine, chloroform, benzene, pesticides, lead, iron, tastes, odors and hundreds of other
potential contaminants and harmful chemicals that may be found in our drinking
water.
Simple-to-install, the Equinox EQ-10 Counter top water filter is a portable system that can
be moved easily to any location. This filter comes
complete as one filtration system. There are no filter
cartridges to change or replace. Simply connect EQ-10 to
kitchen faucet, and use it for up to 5 years. After the
EQ-10 is used up, simply swap-out and replace the used EQ-10
with a brand new one.
The EQ-10's specially designed faucet
adapter diverts water from the tap to the system and then back to the faucet
through a dual-channel hose. At the push of a button,
clear, great-tasting water is
yours. An optional hose-spliced prefilter is available,
upon request, to help reduce high-particulate
before it enters the system. Components are constructed out of FDA
compliant materials and made of 100% recyclable ABS food-grade plastics
assembled by ultrasonic welding to eliminate the use of glues and solvents.
The EQ-10 ships complete with all necessary installation
parts, so no additional parts are needed.

Q: Do
I need a plumber to install my EQ-10 Countertop?
A:
No. The EQ-10 is simple to install and comes complete with all
necessary installation instructions and parts.
Q:
How long
does the EQ-10 Countertop last?
A: The unit
is designed to last for up to 5 years or 5,000 gallons, whichever occurs
first. The saturation of the media may occur faster in different
areas depending upon the condition of the water. Generally, it is
recommended that the unit be replaced when there is a noticeable drop in
water pressure and/or return
of off-tastes or odors. There are no filter cartridges to
change or replace, simply connect to kitchen faucet, and use it for up
to 5 years or 5,000 gallons.
Q: How do I replace my EQ-10
Countertop when it is used up?
A: Since there are no filter cartridges to change or
replace, after the filter is used up in approx. 5 years or 5,000
gallons, simply swap-out and replace the used EQ-10 (whole white unit)
with a brand new EQ-10. NOTE:
There are no filter cartridges to change or replace.

Stage 1
A special kind of activated carbon that combines the
absorption-rate capabilities of traditional carbon with the
enhanced properties of catalytic carbon. This
combination does a better job of filtering an organic compound
like Lindane (a common pesticide). The results are a
healthier and more flavorful water.
Stage 2
A superior blend of bituminous coal-based activated
carbon--plus the patented ATSŪ ceramic-sorbent media--reduces
lead, iron, chlorine, and odors while producing pure,
natural-tasting water.
Stage 3
The patented dual-chamber flow design directs water upward
through the inner chamber and then downward through the outer
chamber for maximized media contact effectiveness.
Housing
Housing elements are ultrasonically bonded to eliminate the
use of adhesives, solvents, or seals. This process is
healthier, safer, and better for the environment. |

I've been trying to locate Equinox Internatonal for 10 years.
I became acquainted with Equinox products in 1996 and I
couldn't settle for just any Equinox. It had to be THIS
Equinox. I don't know where you went, but I am relieved
to see that you're back. Your EQ-10 Countertop Water
Filtration System is the best in the market. I
haven't had one that compared to it.
