Soft connective tissues in the form of cartilage, ligaments and tendons enable joints and muscles to make human body movement occur. Naturally occurring enzymes that stimulate connective tissues breakdown are released during normal joint movement, necessitating restoration. Contracting muscles experience connective tissues stress and tearing during exercise and overuse, necessitating restoration. Glucosamine is naturally synthesized in the body and is key to formation of collagen, a basic component in the restoration of cartilage, ligaments and tendons. When the body's normal ability to synthesize Glucosamine is impaired by aging, injury, stress and other conditions, dietary supplementation is required. NutriJoint™ Liquid Glucosamine with MSM is formulated to nourish joints and relieve joint related pain or discomfort.

Glucosamine:  is a natural product that has been used for the alleviation of the symptoms of arthritis and has been shown to be extremely beneficial for relieving joint pain. Glucosamine has been proven in over 300 studies and 20 clinical trials to actually build joint cartilage.⁶  Glucosamine is involved in the production of cartilage, which is a key component for healthy joints. Glucosamine is the principle component of glycosaminoglycans, the material that forms the matrix of all connective tissues. Glycosaminoglycans, together with proteoglycans, the mesh-like tissue that permits cartilage to flex and absorb physical shock, yield healthy joints. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage cells to synthesize glucosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, which are responsible for maintaining the human body's joints. Glucosamine appears to also inhibit the production of the enzymes that break down and destroy cartilage, known as chondrocytes. Glucosamine has been shown to relieve joint pain, rejuvenate the synovial fluid (fluid within the joint), and promote healthy and flexible joints.

MSM:  is the short name for a dietary supplement known as Methylsulfonylmethane (also known as dimethylsulfone). MSM is generally thought of as a product additive for arthritis related joint discomfort due to joint pain, but it historically has had many other uses.  It is the derivative of dimethysulfoxide (DMSO), which has remarkable therapeutic properties, especially for the healing of injuries.⁴  It has been found to aid immune function, and there have been reports of benefits to patients with heartburn, arthritis, lung problems, migraines, and muscle pain.⁵  The key issue with MSM is what kind of effect it has on the body and why you would take it. Although only a small amount of copper is present in our NutriJoint™ Liquid formulation, this element is important to the production of elastin, which is the major protein in elastic tissue.  This mineral is needed for healthy nerves and joints.¹  Copper is essential for the formation of collagen, one of the fundamental proteins making up bones, skin, and connective tissue.²  One of the early signs of copper deficiency is osteoporosis.³

Suggested Use:
Take 1 to 2 teaspoons (10ml) daily mixed/diluted into a glass of filtered water or your favorite fruit or vegetable juice, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
